SILANGUIN COVE
Subic, Zambales
04.06.14
After 13 hours traverse from Cinco Picos, we relaxed in this peaceful Silanguin Cove and sailed to Capones island the next day.
MT. CINCO PICOS TRAVERSE TO SILANGUIN COVE
Silanguin Cove is a paradise for me. We’re the only hikers who occupied the place. It’s quiet and relaxing. The locals were so accommodating. There is a store where you can buy the necessary things that you need. They sell ICE!!! After our trek we enjoyed refreshing ice cold sodas. The cottage is quite large, large enough for relaxing and dining purposes. Maybe at least 5 people could sleep there if you don’t bother sleeping in an open nipa hut. They have descent restroom, a pump..where you can get water to drink, take a bath, wash dishes, etc. There’s no scarcity of water in this place. Another thing I enjoyed in this wonderful place are the animals, from domestic to farm animals. They're adorable!
MY VERY FIRST GOAT ENCOUNTER

It’s my misconception of them that they’ll kick me if I come closer to them. They’re so charmingly tamed creatures.

There’s some part of the cove with jelly fishes. Since we don’t want ma-dyesabel we just decided to roam around and reserve swimming session in Capones Island. And once you are in a secluded wonderful place all you just have to do is enjoy the moment that you are there. Do all the crazy stuffs! Be crazy!
Pose like a pro!
Release the power within! lol!
Relax!
Release the power within!..again! YOLO!
Dawn Zulueta moment!
Enjoy the sand!
CAPONES ISLAND
Subic, Zambales
One of my favorite activities in Zambales, aside from hiking, is the island hopping. I love sailing and admiring the beautiful scenery along the way.
Unfortunately, we weren't able to drop by at the light house because of the waves. We could trek it from Capones Island but we’re all tired to do that so what we did is that enjoy swimming in Capones Island. But as for me, I enjoyed taking pictures more....I got huge number of victims!
The mermaids!!!
Crossing the big rocks before you reach the little shady part of Capones Island.
Spa session ^0^
A mermaid and the mermans!!!
Capones Island as we all know is an open area but there is a small area in the island that you can swim under a shade. But picture taking in the open area is more fun!
Everyone has a secret world. Though it’s not really secret…well this is mine. I enjoy these outdoor stuffs second to teaching. It’s an awesome adventure that’s like in the books and movies….or even beyond those. It’s always good to be back to hiking because it offers an enduring experience that is worthwhile. The torturing hiking experience in Cinco Picos, crazy stuffs in Silanguin and fun waves in Capones plus awesome people…TOTALLY PRICELESS!!!
