BORACAY DE CAVITE

BORACAY de CAVITE

Since I'm new to hiking, all I know that we were just going to climb a mountain and then go home and rest. I don't even bother to read the itinerary because my mind was set to just go on wherever the group wander. After hiking, I thought the chartered jeep we rented was going straight ahead Manila but I was wrong. The jeep headed to Boracay de Cavite.
Boracay de Cavite is located in Ternate, Cavite. There's no public transportation available to get to this place. It's either you hire a chartered jeep from Manila or you take a bus from Manila to Trece Martires City and from there you could hire a van for a day in a round trip to the camp and back to Trece Martires City.
Among all provinces, Cavite is the most familiar to me. But Boracay de Cavite is the proof that I'm still a stranger of that place. Boracay de Cavite is not that popular and I don't even know that there's a white sand beach exist in Cavite. Maybe, transportation is one biggest factor. Boracay de Cative is actually a marine training ground of the whole country. So entering the place was quite hard.
The entrance fee in not more that 100php as of January 2012 and you can rent a picnic table around 200php up to 300php. There's also a videoke machine in this place, so it's really a nice place for...barkada...and family outing. This is the most common side trip spot for Pico de Loro's hikers.

The sand is really powdery white when dry and turns gray when wet.
The sea water is crystal blue.
It was in the afternoon when we arrived in Boracay de Cavite, so its shore is quite dirty.
There is a retail store in Boracay de Cavite and the ...tindero...is a marine...private???...so I was a bit startled. The goods in the retail store is not pricey so it's really a good thing.

My pet in Boracay de Cavite.

This is what Cavite de Boracay can offer.
FUN! FUN! FUN!
